A follow up on my previous random rant.
In my first rant, I went off on how parents can make videos of their babies/toddlers/young children public.
Facebook hasn't changed the algorithm, and I guess it's foolish to expect it to, so now I seem to have found a new type of baby video popping up. Parents pranking their kids or scaring their little babies for the purpose of making them react, mostly to cry.
Do I really need to state how mean that is? Not only to do that but to post it for the world to see? These children are going to grow up and find these videos and HATE their parents to traumatizing them. We are already seeing some backlash now, as children of influencers are starting to rebel. I say go for it! I think I'm going to need a break from Facebook.
On the job situation - Part Two:
Still holding steady. I've been working on finding some new hobbies to get into once I am no longer working. Writing, blogging, web and graphic design are always there for me to do, but I'd like something more hands-on. So I'm dabbling in scrapbooking and doing a junk journal. I have found a lot of supplies and watched tutorials, but it's harder because, while I can picture the design, if I mess up, I can't just hit an "undo" button. It really does make for more concentration and certainly when glueing down your elements. Not the greatest start, but I found some vintage magazines and I might start a second larger scrapbook for the illustrations and ads I find. The smaller junk journal can be for other stuff.
As for Mom:
No noticeable difference with the Rexulti that I can see right now. I mean she does seem to be less combative, but that was already happening before we started the Rexulti. She was actually a bit snappish yesterday. The tiredness, boredom, sleeping all the time....that hasn't changed at all.
Finally, prayers go out to all those who are suffering because of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. People close to me were affected by both of them and thankfully, they are alright. Many, many people are not okay, so please if you can, donate to assist in relief efforts, there are many trusted organizations like Samaritan's Purse that work tirelessly to aid in times of disasters.
Because you sure as hell can't depend on FEMA, right?
Enjoy the sunshine and cooler temps!
Lex :)
