Overview of the Last Ten Days and Some Memes

Life once again. Same ole, same ole at work, because apparently, when certain programs fail and you are struggling with a workaround (supposed to be temporary) and the Boss says they'll look into it, but don't....then I tend to get a bit miffed. Yeah, thanks but no thanks. No money to fix my problem, but plenty of money to put in other places that could wait a bit.

Mom got combative again. I was able to get her calmed down again, but we might need to work on a med change or revision. She is also sleeping a lot more. I hear that's common and to just let her. She has been a good few days despite everything and is trying to crochet again, something she hasn't done in years. In solidarity, I'm going to try punch needle embroidery. Let's see what kind of dumpster fire I can get into with that!!

Writing has been slow. I just don't have a lot of time to concentrate on it like I'd like to. I will try this weekend to edit a bit of the piece I wanted to post here. It'll be short, maybe 2 or 3 parts. I still haven't fleshed out the story completely, which is typical for me. Stay tuned.

Ahhh...a thunderstorm has arrived to make the 96 degree heat wet. Yay! At least we are getting rain for the first time in a couple of weeks.
